All shoots are a work of complicity, between models, photographers, designers. We all see the result. This series will take you behind the scenes of a photoshoot, from planning to shooting.

Each session is a live, working photoshoot — not a demo, not a simulation. We’ll work with experienced models and performers on a real brief, live. And you're in the room for all of it: the brief, the mood board, the lighting setup, the direction, the decisions. You'll see how I communicate with clients and models, how I translate an idea into a practical shoot plan, and how I handle everything that comes up in the studio.

Whether you're a photographer, a model, or someone who works with both, this is a space to watch, ask questions, share knowledge, and leave with something genuinely useful. Every session features a different subject, a different brief, and a different set of problems to solve. The foundation stays the same.

How each session runs

Mood board & preparation — We open with the brief. I walk through the mood board, the intentions behind it, and how the lighting and direction choices were made before we ever set up a light.

Live shoot — Set 1 — Full working shoot with the first model. Direction, lighting, adjustments, all narrated as it happens.

Live shoot — Set 2 — Second setup, different lighting approach or subject. We build on what we've just done.
